  Are things REALLY getting worse? JWs are so pessimistic...

  one of the things that always puzzled me about the witnesses' doctrine was this idea that we are living in the worst time the world has ever seen - that the twentieth century has surpassed all others in death and destruction.

  am i only the only crazy fool who thinks we have it pretty good?.

  a hundred years ago, people died from diseases that are easily treated today.

  If I had to think back on a more violent time. "The middle ages" comes to mind. Especially if you were involved in the so called "Christian" movement back then. More deaths and murders all in the name of God. Every century seems to have a time period, that if you were in that time period, you would believe it was the end times. No different now. However, I tend to agree that things now, are not as bad as many times throughout histrory.

  No problem. No I am not the mike guy. The whole point of my image is shock value and humor. Definitely humor! Freddy Satanic however? Hmmmmm.... Evil? Yes. But then again evil by whose definition. Most of the people in those movies deserved to die anyway. Bunch of stupid teens usually. (Lol) Satanic? I would say..... nahhhhh. But then again, that's your opinion and that's what this is all about.

  Shamus, I definitely see the humor in this! And it's great!

  But I do come up with some interesting questions for thought.

  My screen name is to throw everyone for a loop, but also raise an eybrow. But it's all about the humor, and that's my philosophy. Enjoy life and laugh! But have a hell of the time in the ptrocess! You only live once. The society has already taken much to many years from most people on this site. So, enjoy what we have left in our freedom.
